No. Mobistride connects you with the owner or driver — the rental agreement, deposit and weekly or monthly payments are settled directly between you. Inspect the vehicle and paperwork before paying anything.
No. Mobistride is not affiliated with Uber, Bolt, inDrive, Bro Cabs or other work platforms. Listings show which platforms a vehicle is suited for, but platform approval is between you and that platform.
We focus on South Africa. Listings are organised by city so drivers can find vehicles near where they work.

Messaging happens in-app after you unlock chat on a listing. Contact details stay private until you both choose to share them in the conversation.
Meet the owner, inspect the vehicle, confirm insurance, licence discs and any platform requirements, and agree handover terms in writing. Mobistride does not hold deposits.
Sign up as a private owner or fleet, choose a listing plan from your dashboard, then add make, model, city, photos, rates, deposit and which platforms the vehicle is good for.
Drivers with an active chat pass can unlock a conversation on your listing. You reply from Messages in your account.
You can submit verification documents from your profile. Verified badges help drivers trust your listing; admin reviews submissions before marking them verified.
Yes. When you create or edit a listing you can mark it as rent to own and add notes about the terms. Drivers see that clearly on the listing.

Owners and fleets pay for a listing plan so they can publish vehicles. Plan details are on your account billing page. Rental money stays between you and the driver.
Chat passes and listing plans are paid through Paystack on Mobistride. Vehicle deposits and rentals are paid directly to the owner — not through us.
